A group of balaclava-clad thugs burst into a Co-op in Bolton and restrained and threatened staff.
The incident happened at the shop on Chorley New Road in Horwich just after 6am this morning (December 28).
Police said it was reported that three men, all wearing balaclavas, went into the shop then made threats to the workers inside.
They stole cash and cigarettes.

The group then made off in a vehicle.
No-one was injured, a spokesperson for GMP confirmed, and no arrests have been made.
The Co-op store was shut at around 10.30am this morning.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "Police were called just after 6am this morning (Tuesday 28 December) to a report of a robbery at a Co-Op on Chorley New Road, Horwich.
"It was reported that three men in balaclavas with weapons entered the store, restrained and threatened staff, and stole cash, as well as a number of cigarettes, before making off in a vehicle.
"No-one was injured, no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
