A litter warden who tried to fine a woman for dropping a cigarette butt was chased and beaten by men wielding a wooden mop pole.
Footage shows the 35-year-old victim fleeing from the attackers as one beats him and the other yells racist abuse.
The council worker caught a woman flicking cigarette butts from a car window in Pickford Street, Kates Hill, Birmingham on August 12 and a short while later confronted her in Jasmine Street, Dudley.
Raja Malik, 30, then emerges from a house and confronts the officer arguing “everybody throws cigarettes. Where does it say you can’t throw cigarettes outside?”
The confrontation soon turns abusive as Malik begins to hurl racist abuse at the worker saying “Get the f*** off my property you white mother f*****”.

Body cam footage also shows Mohammed Nawaz, 50, rushing to intervene and squaring up to the officer as women try to hold him back.
He then is seen running with the pole in his hand as Malik also gives chase, grasping another pole which he then hits the officer with so hard it shatters into several pieces.
The council worker then tries to escape, running off while pleading with the two men.
West Midlands Police identified the pair and on August 30 went to speak to them at an address in Jasmine Street.

Police body cam footage shows officers kicking down a door after urging multiple times to open it.
Appearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Thursday, both were ordered to pay the victim £500 in compensation.
Malik was handed a nine-month prison sentence, suspended for two years, after being charged with assault and racially aggravated assault.
And Nawaz was charged with assault and using an offensive weapon and received a six-month sentence, suspended for a year.
The victim suffered bruising from the attack but was not seriously injured.

Dudley Police Inspector Pete Sandhu, said: “This was a really shocking incident, a violent attack and racist abuse against a council contractor who was simply doing his job.
“The women who’d been seen littering remained calm, engaged with the officer and urged the two men not to get involved.
“But they ignored their pleas, threatened the victim and Nawaz shattered a wooden pole over him as he tried to retreat.
“There is absolutely no excuse for this kind of behaviour and the two men should be ashamed of their actions.”
Dudley Councillor Karen Shakespeare, cabinet member for public realm, said: “We welcome the verdict. This was a despicable act against an enforcement officer who was carrying out his duties in order to help keep our borough clean and tidy."
