A man threatened his neighbour who had reported him for allegedly neglecting his dog.
Daniel McGeorge warned the man: "I'll do you in. I'm out on licence and I don't give a s***."
McGeorge, 22, was found guilty of threatening or abusive behaviour in Banff Place, East Kilbride, on October 19.
He was also convicted of breaching a curfew the previous night, but received a not proven verdict on a charge of possessing a knife in public.
Hamilton Sheriff Court heard that McGeorge's neighbour was concerned after seeing the dog "pining and moaning" at the window.
McGeorge was not around and this had been going on for some days.
When he saw his neighbour, the man told him he had contacted the Scottish SPCA.
He said McGeorge replied: "I walk the f****** dog. It's none of your f****** business."

Giving evidence, the man told Jennifer McCabe, prosecuting, that he felt scared to stay in his own home after this and an alleged knife incident the night before.
He said he had looked out of his window about 11pm and saw McGeorge and a female.
He overheard McGeorge say: "Hurry up. We're being followed." He then said he saw McGeorge produce a kitchen knife from his waistband.
However, defence agent Ian Scott insisted to the jury that this evidence was made up.
The lawyer said it appeared from the witness's demeanour that he "couldn't wait to give evidence against McGeorge".
After the verdicts, Sheriff Linda Nicolson deferred sentence until next month for the production of a criminal justice social work report.
McGeorge, who had been in custody awaiting trial, was bailed to an address in Larkhall.
