Thug stabs young teen at Glencairn Luas stop following altercation with gang in late night Dublin attack

A teenager was rushed to hospital after being stabbed at a Luas stop in the late hours of Monday night following an altercation with a group of males.

The boy, who is said to be in his mid-teen, was approached by the gang at around 10pm at the Glencairn Stop in Leopardstown.

During the altercation with the gang, the young teen received stab wounds to the abdomen.

He was rushed to St. Vincent's Hospital and underwent treatment but his injuries are being described as not life threatening.

A Garda spokesman told Dublin Live that no arrests have been made yet and investigations are ongoing.
