A raging thug smashed a Shell petrol station night window trying to punch the cashier behind it.
Police today issued CCTV images of a man who could "have vital information" after the violent scenes on the Wirral.
The yob cracked the glass of the night pay kiosk as part of a failed bid to attack the staff member behind the window at the Shell garage in Borough Road in Birkenhead .
Police said the man struck out having earlier argued with other customers and staff.
Fortunately nobody was injured during the shameful scenes just before 11pm on Saturday, December 14.
Police are now hoping to speak to a man pictured in the CCTV stills as part of the investigation.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "It was reported that at around 10.55pm, a man damaged the night pay kiosk window at Shell Garage on Borough Road, after punching out at the employee behind the window. No one was injured during the incident."
She added: "CCTV enquiries have been ongoing and officers are keen to speak to the man pictured, as he may have vital information to assist the investigation."
