A thief who gave and elderly woman a 'glass of water' during a 'vicious' burglary is being hunted by police.

The thug broke into a house on Reservoir Passage, Wednesbury, while the 69 year old was asleep upstairs.

After breaking in at around 4.15am on Friday 2nd August, the suspect burst into her bedroom and woke her up demanding money and making threats.
