A pair of thugs have been arrested by Gardai after a night of horror in Dublin city that left residents fearing for their lives.
The duo were nabbed by Gardai after windows in a number of houses in the north inner city were smashed overnight.
It is understood that a business in the area was also targeted by the dangerous pair who were terrorising homes in Arbour Hill from midnight onwards.
But their reign of terror didn't last too long as they were nabbed by Gardai in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
A spokesman for Gardai confirmed the incidents to Dublin Live with the duo still being quizzed by officers.
He said: "Gardaí are investigating an incident of criminal damage that occurred in Arbour Hill at approximately 12.15am on Tuesday morning.
"Two males were subsequently arrested in connection with this incident."
He added: "No further information is available and investigations are ongoing."
