A 64-year-old woman was assaulted at her home in a terrifying unprovoked attack.
The victim is believed to have been dragged to the ground and kicked at the address in Bridge of Weir Road in Linwood on Sunday night, after telling kids off for playing in her garden.
The incident unfolded after she asked neighbourhood kids to stop running through her property.
The Paisley Daily Express reports that the victim suffered a serious injury to her ribs during the attack, which unfolded around 9.30pm on Sunday.
Police are checking CCTV in the area and carrying out door-to-door enquiries.
