Three young children are said to be 'in extreme danger' after police issued a warning over their abduction.
Cameron and Emma Allison, both six, and 21-month-old Colin Allison have been missing since they were taken by their parents on Tuesday afternoon, says the Virginia State Police.
Their father, John, turned himself in to a lawyer on Wednesday, however an ember alert remains for the missing children and their mother, Ruby Marie.
The children are described as white with brown eyes. Cameron and Emma have brown ahir and Colin has blond hair.


Virginia State Police said on their Facebook page that the children "are believed to be in extreme danger."
Ruby Marie is described as white with brown hair and brown eyes, 5-foot, 3-inches tall and weighing 160 pounds.
Police believe she is driving a maroon 1999 Chevrolet Suburban SUV with Virginia license plate VVU-3796.


They have also identified a second suspect vehicle, described as a maroon 2006 Cadillac with Virginia license plate VMN-8238, which has been recovered.
