Three vehicles involved in crash on south Manchester road

Three vehicles were involved in a road traffic collision in south Manchester on Tuesday morning (December 8).

Greater Manchester Fire Rescue Service (GMFRS) were called to reports of a collision on Dene Road in Didsbury at 10.38am.

“One fire engine from Withington quickly attended the scene,” a spokesperson for GMFRS told the Manchester Evening News.

“The collision involved three vehicles. Fire crews made the scene safe and were in attendance for around 40 minutes.”

North West Ambulance Service also confirmed they attended the scene.

Nobody was taken to hospital and those involved in the incident were reported to have suffered minor injuries only.

As a result of the collision, Stagecoach Mancehester posted on social media to inform travellers that a number of bus services were being diverted from the Didsbury Village area.

At 11.20am, the bus company tweeted that all affected services were ‘back to normal’.

Greater Manchester Police have been reached for comment.
