Three vehicles went up in flames after a car was torched on a West Lothian street.
Emergency services were called to Turnhigh Road in Whitburn at around 3.30am on Friday and the fire took hold.
The blaze is said to have caused substantial damage to all three cars.
Nobody was injured in the incident however it is being treated as deliberate and cops have since started an investigation.
Detective Constable Rachel Royan said: "Thankfully no-one was injured as a result of this reckless act.
"I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information which may assist us to get in touch. I would also ask anyone in the area to check dashcam footage and private CCTV."
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 0319 of 22 October, 2021."
