Glasgow residents have been left stunned after "three UFOs " appeared in the sky above the city.
Pictures taken on Byres Road in the west end appear to show three bright dots in the sky at around 7am this morning, Saturday December 18.
Images of the objects were captured by shocked locals.
Artist Michelle Hynes was out taking pictures of the thick fog in the city and only spotted the unidentified objects in the sky when she returned home.
And the "UFOs" were also captured on video by Robbie Morrow while he was out walking his dog in the Whiteinch area of the city.
The images appeared to show the three dots in a triangular formation, reports Glasgow Live.
Michelle said: "I'm an artist and at 7am this morning I was out taking photos on Byres Road.
"When i got home looked at the pics - three UFO's above Byres Road.
"I didn't notice them when I was out then when I got home I had a look and that's when I saw them."
Robbie said the lights were visible for around 10 minutes, one of which was "like a shooting star" and the other "illuminating".
In his video, the three mysterious dots are clearly visible in the sky above the city.
Robbie said: "I was out walking the dog when I saw one trail, like a shooting star then another started to go another direction.
"But they went on for about 10 minutes at least. Then the one light in the centre illuminating. Was bizarre!"
