Three things Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told Man Utd players during dressing down

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is understood to have launched a stunning tirade at his players after their 4-0 hammering at Goodison Park on Sunday.

The Red Devils were thrashed by Everton and according to The Sun , Solskjaer sent his players a clear warning regarding their futures.

He gave his misfiring stars a piece of his mind with three key points after seeing their Premier League top four hopes dealt a bitter blow.

His message included a warning that those who do not show fight in Wednesday's Manchester derby face being forced out of Old Trafford.

He also slammed their passion, questioning whether they want to be in the top four, as well as telling players their stunning win against Paris Saint-Germain now meant nothing.

How Man Utd and Man City could line up for derby showdown

Solskjaer is hoping his three points will make players realise the magnitude of their current crisis and issue a response in a huge Manchester derby.

They face title-chasing City knowing a defeat would leave their hopes of a top four finish to secure a Champions League spot looking slim as the season nears its climax.

After being angered by United's humbling Everton defeat, Solskjaer apologised to fans and stated his players need to be capable of dealing with pressure.

Chris Sutton slams Man Utd flops with huge claim ahead of derby

Speaking ahead of the Manchester derby, Solskjaer said: “A big, big part of being a Man United player is that you can deal with the pressure and be a leader.

“The proof is on the pitch. It’s got to be happening on the pitch.

“We’ve had some good meetings.

“There have been some words said — the truth of course — and there are players there that stand up and show they want to help take this club forward.”
