Another two teenage girls have been charged in connection with an alleged assault on a 13-year-old girl and a woman in a popular Edinburgh park.
Police previously arrested a 15-year-old after the alleged attack on the girl and the 31-year-old woman in Leith Links Park in Edinburgh at around 5.40pm on Saturday.
Cops have now said they have arrested a further two girls, aged 14 and 13, and have charged all three in connection.
Reports have been sent to the Children's Reporter.
A statement from Police Scotland this evening reads: "Three teens charged in connection with Leith Links assault.
"We can confirm that three teenage girls, aged 15, 14 and 13, have been charged in connection with the assault of a 13-year-old girl and 31-year-old woman which happened in Leith Link Park, Edinburgh, around 5.40pm on Sunday, 27 June, 2021.
"Reports have been submitted to the Children's Reporter."
