The attack took place on board a train to Meridan Water Station in Edmonton on September 25.

British Transport Police said a 14-year old boy and two 17-year-old boys appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ court on October 5.

They have been charged with attempted murder, possessing an offensive weapon and theft.

All three have been remanded until their next appearance at the Old Bailey on November 2.
