Three teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a boy was stabbed in Moss Side.
The 15-year-old was taken to hospital after being attacked near Alexandra Park at around 10.30pm on Saturday.
He remains in hospital in a serious but not life-threatening condition, police said.
Three other boys, all 15, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
It's understood that the stabbing is being treated as a targeted attack.

A police helicopter was seen hovering above the park with a floodlight for around 30 minutes.
Dog units assisted the search along with armed officers, witnesses said.

Officers were later seen carrying out door-to-door enquiries on Smalldale Avenue, a street facing the park.
North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) sent a rapid response vehicle and a land ambulance to the scene.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "Police were called shortly after 10.30pm last night (Saturday 19 December) to reports that a 15-year-old boy had been stabbed outside Alexandra Park on Claremont Road, Manchester.
"The boy remains in hospital for treatment in a serious but not life-threatening condition.
"Three 15-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder."
