A man was shot in the chest with a BB gun as he walked unsuspectingly down a street in Stockport.
The victim was hit by a plastic bullet - believed to have been fired at him from inside a passing car.
Police investigating the incident in Reddish on Wednesday night have since arrested three teenagers - one female and two male - in connection with the shooting.
According to GMP, the victim had been walking along Reddish Road at around 7.40pm when all of a sudden he felt something hit him in the chest.
When he looked down, he noticed a yellow BB pellet laying on the ground.
A car is understood to have driven away from the scene shortly afterwards.

The teenagers, two men aged 19 and a 17-year-old girl, were arrested later on suspicion of section 47 assault and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear.
They have since been released under investigation.
A spokesman for GMP said: "Police were called shortly after 7.40pm on May 15 to a report that a man had been shot in the chest with a bb gun in Reddish.
"A man was walking along Reddish Road when he felt a pain in his chest and looked down to see a bb pellet on the floor.
"No injuries were reported.
"Two men both aged 19 and one girl aged 17 were later arrested for section 47 assault and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear.
"They have all been interviewed and released under investigation."
