Officers have arrested three teenagers after a man's car was stolen in what police believe to be a 'targeted knifepoint robbery'.
Police were called out to reports of a robbery on Brien Avenue, Altrincham, at around 9pm yesterday (December 28).
Greater Manchester Police says the victim - a 23-year-old man - went to meet someone he believed was a client at an address on the street.

As he got out of his car, he was approached by three people who were wearing balaclavas and wielding a knife.
The group threatened the victim with the knife before making off in his car, GMP says.
Officers engaged in a short pursuit with the car before it hit a wall and three people were detained with help from GMP's dog unit.
Two teenagers - a 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man - were arrested on suspicion of robbery. They remain in custody for questioning.
A 16-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of robbery and has been taken to hospital as a precaution before he is questioned in custody.
Det Sgt Alison Kay, of GMP's Trafford division, said: "We believe the offenders deceived the victim in order to rob him in a planned attack.
"Behaviour such as this will absolutely not be tolerated and we are doing all that we can to investigate thoroughly and ensure that those responsible are held accountable for their despicable actions.
"We are aware that a good Samaritan assisted the victim and took him to a police station. We are really keen to speak to this individual and ask that he please gets in contact with police.
"If anyone has any CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident please get in touch as soon as possible. Even the smallest piece of information could prove a vital part of our investigation."
