Three people were left seriously injured after a car crashed into the corner of a house in Co Carlow.
The terrifying incident happened at The Forge Cross in Castlemore, Tullow, at around 2am on Wednesday morning.
Gardai attended the scene and discovered the three injured parties, who are all aged in their 20s, in the vehicle.
They were rushed to St Luke’s Hospital in Kilkenny where they are in a serious condition.
The road was closed for a technical examination to be carried out but has since reopened.
A garda spokesman said: “Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the area between 1.30a.m. and 2.15a.m. this morning who witnessed the collision, particularly any road users who may have dash cam footage or who can assist Gardaí to contact Tullow Garda Station on 059 - 9161122, The Garda Confidential Line or any Garda Station.”
