Three schoolboys in Co Donegal had to receive hospital treatment after they were attacked by a gang while waiting for their school bus home.
The vicious attack took place in broad daylight at 4pm on Tuesday, February 28, in Stranorlar.
The boys were going to catch their bus when they were allegedly set upon by a gang of older youths in a laneway between the town’s Main Street and Railway Road.

Garda Claire Rafferty said the pupils were followed and attacked by a number of older male youths.
It is understood the three young pupils received a number of kicks and punches in the unprovoked attack.
She said “The male youths followed them and launched an unprovoked attack.
“They received non life-threatening injuries. However, this was an awful ordeal for them.
"Parents, please speak with your children about the potentially life-changing consequences of such incidents.”
She also revealed that the attack was recorded and that Gardaí were in possession of the footage.
