Three rooms full of cannabis found in suburban Adelaide home

Police say 24 cannabis plants were found inside the home. (SA Police)

Two dozen "established" cannabis plants have been seized from a suburban Adelaide home, police say.

Detectives attended the home in Hill Avenue, Cumberland Park, in Adelaide's south on Thursday afternoon, following a police investigation.

They found 24 plants being hydroponically grown in three bedrooms within the house.

Officers seized the plants and equipment and contacted SA Power Networks to disconnect the home's power supply, which had been illegally bypassed.

No-one was at the address when police attended.

Police said their investigation was ongoing.

The drug bust came just five days after the seizure of 260 cannabis plants forming a "large and sophisticated" crop on a property at Sellicks Beach, also in Adelaide's south.
