Mobile network Three has launched the cheapest unlimited data deal in the UK.
The network is offering a SIM card with unlimited data for just £10 a month for six months, followed by 18 months at £20 per month.
The SIM deal is also includes unlimited minutes and texts, and Three says it is 5G ready for when it rolls out the new ultra-fast network across the UK.
It is available on the Three website.
The deal is also available at £20 per month for a shorter 12 month contract or £26 per month for a more flexible monthly rolling contract. All SIMs include Three's Go Roam service which allows users to use data allowance in over 70 other countries.
Three's decision to offer unlimited data and a 5G upgrade is unusual in the mobile industry and the low price point has put it at the forefront of SIM card deals.
Customers who want to take the deal can take advantage of new Ofcom rules around switching your phone network. Instead of having to call the network, customers can now send a free text message to switch their mobile phone provider.
Switching can be done by texting PAC to 65075. The existing provider must then reply within a minute with a switching code (known as a PAC) which is valid for 30 days. This code can be given to a new provider to switch contracts.
Customers can text STAC to 75075 if they do not want to keep their own number. However, any outstanding payments on a contract will need to be paid before the switch can take place.
