More than three quarters of a million doses of the Covid-19 vaccines have been given out to people in our region.
According to the latest NHS data, which goes up to February 21, 768,946 culmination doses have been given out since the beginning of the Covid-19 vaccine rollout.
The numbers are broken down by segments known as Sustainability and Transformation Partnerships (STP). The (STP) for our region comes under 'Cheshire and Merseyside '.
In the under 65 cohort, a total of 284,933 people have been given a fist dose, which is 18.5% of that age group's population. A further 10,266 have been given a second dose, equating to 0.7% of that age group's population.
A total of 105,601 people in the 65 to 69 cohort have had a first dose, which is 77.1% of that age group's population. And 533 have been given a second dose, which is 0.4% of that age group's population.
In the 70-74 age group, a total of 127,773 have had their first dose, which equates to 96.2% of that age group's population. And another 414 have had a second dose, equating to 0.3% of that age group's population.
While in the 75-79 cohort age group, a total of 92,173 have been given a first dose, which is 98.5% of that age group's population. And further 751 have had a second dose, which is 0.8% of that age group's population.
A total of 127,752 people in the 80+ age group have also been given a first dose, which is 94.4% of that age group's population. And another 18,730 have had a second dose, equating to 13.8% of that age group's population.
The Cheshire and Merseyside STP includes NHS Halton CCG, NHS Knowsley CCG, NHS Liverpool CCG, NHS South Sefton CCG, NHS Southport and Formby CCG, NHS St Helens CCG, NHS Warrington CCG, NHS Wirral CCG and NHS Cheshire CCG.
