'Three points incoming!' - Chelsea fans delighted that Frank Lampard has recalled star winger

After their impressive win over Tottenham Hotspur, Frank Lampard has stuck with three at the back for Chelsea's match with Southampton.

However, he has made some changes and one of them in particular has gone down well with Blues supporters on social media.

Callum Hudson-Odoi has come back into the XI, making his first start since the Carabao Cup game against Manchester United back in October.

Mason Mount had a decent game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, however he comes out of the side to be replaced by the winger.

Emerson Palmieri also comes back into the team, replacing Marcos Alonso in the left wing-back position.

Jorginho also returns to the starting XI, coming in for the suspended Mateo Kovacic who will have some rest ahead of Arsenal on December 29.

But it is the decision to start Hudson-Odoi that has gone down well with supporters.

Reece James is not in the matchday squad, however, with there being no full-back cover in case of an injury.

Ross Barkley is back on the bench, with a rare spot for Pedro within the substitutes.

Hudson-Odoi is yet to score a Premier League goal, and he will be hoping to get off the mark this afternoon.
