Four players missing as Spurs' travelling squad board plane for Red Star Belgrade

Tottenham have revealed their squad for the Champions League clash with Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday night.

And there are four players missing that you might expect to be there.

Spurs will be without long-term injured skipper Hugo Lloris of course, but three other players were not seen boarding the plane for Belgrade on Tuesday lunchtime.

As is normal for a midweek Champions League encounter overseas, Tottenham have posted a video of the squad boarding the plane bound for Serbia.

In total 20 players were seen getting on the plane at the airport, with manager Mauricio Pochettino able to name a matchday squad of 18 for the third Champions League Group B clash of the season.

The big news for Tottenham fans is that Harry Kane was spotted getting on the plane.

Kane, the captain in the absence of Lloris, missed the game with Everton at the weekend due to a virus, but it appears he has recovered in time for Wednesday night's clash and has travelled with the squad.

Son Heung-min, who was distraught after being sent off for the sliding tackle that left Everton's Andre Gomes with a fractured ankle, has also travelled.

However, right-back Serge Aurier, Erik Lamela, who has been suffering with a thigh injury, Jan Vertonghen and Harry Winks were not seen on the video posted on Spurs' official Twitter page.

Victor Wanyama and Kyle Walker-Peters, who have not been in recent squads, were also not spotted.

Those five could all still be part of the squad for the game against Red Star Belgrade and just not picked up by the Spurs cameras ahead of the flight to Serbia.

Travelling squad seen on video:

Michel Vorm, Paulo Gazzaniga, Ben Davies, Danny Rose, Juan Foyth, Japhet Tanganga, Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez, Eric Dier, Ryan Sessegnon, Moussa Sissoko, Oliver Skipp, Tanguy Ndombele, Christian Eriksen, Giovani Lo Celso, Dele Alli, Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura, Harry Kane, Troy Parrott.
