Three people are in hospital after a crash in Wythenshawe.
The three car collision happened on Cornishway at about 7.50pm.
A GMP spokesman said enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
The fire service said three people were assessed by paramedics and taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: "At around 7.50pm on Monday 12 April, fire crews were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Cornishway in Wythenshawe.
"Fire engines from Wythenshawe and Cheadle fire stations and the Technical Rescue Unit from Ashton arrived quickly at the scene.
"The incident involved three vehicles and a pedestrian.

"Three casualties were checked by paramedics and have been conveyed to hospital by colleagues from North West Ambulance Service (NWAS).
"GMFRS crews helped make the area safe and remain in attendance."

A GMP spokesman confirmed officers are in attendance at the scene.
A cordon is in place at the junction of Cornishway and Portway, near the Cornishman pub.
