Three people taken to hospital after crash in Florey

Three people have been transported to hospital after a crash involving several vehicles on Kingsford Smith Drive in Florey.

Four people were assessed by paramedics at the scene of the incident, which police were called to about 2.50pm on Monday.

ACT Fire and Rescue crews also attended. It is understood none of the people involved sustained serious injuries.

No arrests have been made, with the crash understood to have been an accident.

Police were still on the scene at 4pm, with Kingsford Smith Drive northbound at the Southern Cross Drive intersection expected to be closed "for some time" from Castieau Street in Higgins.

It was unclear in what condition the three people were taken to hospital, or where they were taken.

The Emergency Services Agency is advising the public to keep clear of the area.

ACT ambulance services were called to the incident on Kingsford Smith Drive on Monday afternoon.
