Last month, a woman was stabbed in a coffee shop as brave onlookers rushed to fight off her male attacker.
People close to the woman in Edgware Road raced over to try and protect her, with some seen swinging chairs at the man.
An eyewitness spotted a group of workmen jumping out of their van as they were driving past, in a desperate bid to stop the knife attacker.
Cab driver Des O' Halloran tweeted: "Sickened witnessing a woman being beaten in the road by a male on the Edgware rd.
"I hope she’s ok, brave people getting involved and fighting him off/dragging her to safety, I was too far away to instantly help."
