Three people escaped from a burning building after firebugs torched the front door of a Renfrew home.
Detectives are investigating the incident which happened in Western Park Gate, Renfrew at around 3.10am this morning.
The reckless yobs made off from the scene and now a manhunt is on to identify the suspects.
It's understood no one was injured in the blaze.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "If you saw or heard anything suspicious in the Western Park Gate area of Renfrew in the early hours of this morning, then we would like to hear from you."
