Three people have been arrested following the robbery of a shop in Stamullen in Meath on Saturday evening.
The incident took place shortly before 10pm on May 25 when a man entered a shop and threatened staff with a broken bottle.
He fled the scene in a car with a number of accomplices shortly after the incident.
Gardai in Laytown and Duleek searched the area following the incident and spotted a car in Julianstown matching the description of the getaway.
They forced the vehicle to stop and arrested two males and one female.
The 20-year-old and 22-year-old male and the 24-year old female are currently being interviewed in relation to the robbery.
Gardaí added that they are "also examining if this incident is linked to a number of similar type of robberies that occurred in the Drogheda area on Saturday afternoon".
On Friday, Gardai attended the scene of a cash-in-transit raid in North Dublin.
The robbery took place at the Charlestown Shopping Centre in Finglas at around 1pm.
A cash box is understood to have been stolen from the driver as they returned to their vehicle at the centre.
Thankfully there were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.
A number of people are believed to have witnessed the raid, with an investigation currently taking place.
A garda spokeswoman told Dublin Live: "Gardaí are at the scene of a cash-in-transit robbery that occurred at St Margaret's Road, Finglas at approximately 1pm today 24th May 2019.
"It's understood that a cash box was taken during the raid. No injuries have been reported. No further information at this time."
