Three parts of Nottinghamshire record new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours

The latest Public Health England figures have shown a rise in the number of coronavirus cases recorded over the last 24 hours across Nottinghamshire.

As of 4pm on Wednesday, July 29, there were 1,209 confirmed cases in the city, a rise of four from the previous day.

In Nottinghamshire, there are now 3,055 confirmed cases across the wider county - marking a rise of two.

Across the UK there have been 301,455 lab-confirmed cases and 45,961 coronavirus deaths which is a rise of 83 deaths in 24 hours.

This is the current breakdown of confirmed infections since March for each region of Nottinghamshire:

- Ashfield 575 (no change);

- Bassetlaw 590 (plus one);

- Broxtowe 434 (no change);

- Gedling 382 (no change);

- Mansfield 352 (no change);

- Newark and Sherwood 330 (plus one);

- Rushcliffe 392 (no change).

Elsewhere across the East Midlands, there have been 1,318 confirmed cases in Derby and 3,421 across Derbyshire.

Meanwhile, there have been 4,883 confirmed infections in Leicester and 3,270 across Leicestershire.
