- Strictly Come Dancing has announced Dani Dyer, Alex Kingston, and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink as the first celebrity contestants for its 2025 series.

- The new series will introduce two new professional dancers, Alexis Warr and Julian Caillon, alongside the returning professional cast and all four judges.
- Professional dancer Gorka Marquez will not be partnered with a celebrity for up to four weeks due to his judging commitments on the Spanish version of the show.
- The remaining celebrity contestants are set to be revealed throughout August, with the series airing on BBC One from September to December.
