Three new coronavirus symptoms added to official list - and they could reveal whether you've already had it

Three new Covid-19 symptoms have been officially listed by the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The current symptoms for coronavirus are a high fever, a new and persistent cough and a sudden loss of taste or smell.

The pandemic has seen over 43,000 Brits die in hospitals, with the death toll for the country likely far higher.

CDC's new addition of symptoms could also reveal whether you have already had Covid-19.

New symptoms placed on the list include a runny nose or congestion , nausea and diarrhoea .

Coughing, fever, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell and sore throat were already included on the list.

The CDC says that this list does not include all possible symptoms, and will continue to be updated.

The news comes after the global death toll from the disease surpassed 470,000.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has said that almost 10 million people around the world have now tested positive for Covid-19.
