South East NSW has recorded three new coronavirus cases, breaking an 11-day COVID-free streak.
All three cases were recorded in the Bega Valley in the 24 hours to 8pm Thursday night.
Two of those are based in Pambula, with one case linked to a known case while the other is under investigation.
The third case is based in Candelo and is under investigation.
They are the first cases detected across the entire South East NSW region since October 25, following a case in Nelligen, and the first detected in the Bega Valley in 20 days, after a case was announced in Tathra on October 16.
Southern NSW Local Health District executive director Liz Mullins says the community knows the drill: if you have symptoms, get tested.
"Particularly more for us on the South Coast where we have people visiting in increasing numbers as the weather gets better and people come to spend holidays with family and friends."
Testing is available at the Old Bega Racecourse, which operates 8am to 2pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 2pm on weekends.
There are also five positive cases of COVID-19 in "virtual care", who are being treated remotely via telehealth in their own homes, including four in the Bega Valley and one in the Eurobodalla.
There are zero positive cases in the Snowy Monaro.
Clinic equipment stolen
The South Coast Police District is appealing to the public for information after equipment at the Old Bega Racecourse testing clinic was stolen this week.
Police say five traffic signs, a recycling bin and a white marquee were stolen from the site between 2pm on Wednesday, November 3 and 8am on Thursday, November 4.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
"It's very disappointing," Dr Mullins said.
"That [equipment] has been replaced and that's back up and running."
