Three new celebrities are set to join The Masked Singer panel this weekend

The Masked Singer is set to undergo a massive shake up this week, as three new stars are set to join the panel.

Panel regulars, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Rita Ora and Mo Gilligan will be joined by a new trio of guest judges.

According to The Sun, former England striker Peter Crouch, presenter Stephen Mulhern and comedian Lee Mack will sit on the panel for Saturday’s show.

It’s a one-off appearance for Peter Crouch, who is returning to the panel after a stint on The Masked Dancer last year.

The reality singing contest is now at the quarter-finals stage, with the seven celebrities set to endure a double dumping, leaving just five contestants in the running.

Ladbrokes has released a list of celebrity identities who they think are behind the masks, with former Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson their 4/5 tip to be Phoenix.

They’ve played 5/4 odds on Glee star Amber Riley as Jellyfish, and Steps singer Claire Richards is 2/1 top choice as Knitting.

Patsy Kensit is down as 2/1 to be Otter alongside Natalie Appleton, with the same odds, as Fawn.

Bon Jovi member Richie Sambora is 6/4 to be Jacket Potato.

Busted frontman Charlie Simpson has the odds of 5/4 as Rhino.

A source said: “The Masked Singer remains a huge Saturday night show for ITV, with over five million viewers last weekend.

“They’ve thrown the budget at a raft of star panellists as they cruise towards the big finale next month.”

It comes after the show’s host Joel Dommett has opened up about a new presenting opportunity.

The actor and presenter has signed up for new ITV gameshow, In With A Shout, which will see contestants shout at their TV in order to win cash prizes.

Speaking about the new show, Joel has reportedly said he's "beyond excited to be hosting my first quiz show".

"It’s always been a dream for me and I can’t believe I’m finally here, plus it’s a show I love SO MUCH!

"I'm ready to cheer, console, congratulate and sometimes laugh at our wonderful contestants.”
