Three more people have died of coronavirus at Leeds hospitals

A further three people have died from coronavirus in Leeds hospitals.

NHS England announced a further 46 deaths, including six in Yorkshire, in hospitals across the country including a 12-year-old child.

Two patients, aged 65 and 85, had no known underlying health conditions.

According to the latest figures 2,433 people have now lost their lives to the virus.

Leeds recorded the most new cases with a further three deaths and hospitals in Bradford, Hull and Rotherham all recorded one more fatality each.

However, the majority of hospitals in the county recorded no new coronavirus deaths.
