Three daily newspaper reporters were among the 34 people killed and 150 injured when a truck carrying mining explosives blew up in Mexico's northern state of Coahuila. The blast happened minutes after the Monclova-based reporters - David Herrera of Zócalo, Carlos Antonio Ballesteros of El Tiempo and Andrés Ramírez of La Prensa - had arrived at the scene to cover a collision between the truck and a smaller vehicle.
