Three men taken to hospital after crash between taxi and car

Three men were taken to hospital after a crash between a taxi and a car.

The crash happened on Great Ducie Street, in the Strangeways area of Manchester, at around 3.20am on Sunday (November 7).

A taxi and a Nissan Navara collided, police said.

The taxi driver was taken to hospital from the scene with serious injuries.

He remains there in a serious condition.

Two other men, aged 26 and 27, were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.

No arrests have been made at this stage.

In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "At around 3.20am this morning (Sunday 7 November 2021), police were called to reports of a collision between a taxi and a Nissan Navara on Great Ducie Street, Manchester.

"Emergency services attended and the taxi driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains in a stable condition.

"A 26 and 27-year old man were also taken to hospital with minor injuries

"No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing."
