A triple shooting has left one man in a critical condition, with the attackers still at large.
Three man were shot at on Upton Lane in Forest Gate, East London on Friday October 8 just before 7pm.
Two men are receiving hospital care for non-life threatening injuries. The other man is fighting for his life in intensive care.
Police have confirmed no one has been arrested for the shootings at this stage and are asking witnesses to get in touch to assist their enquiries.
Officers have been given powers to carry our increased stop and searches to prevent further violence.
The shootings prompted air ambulance teams to arrive in a joint response due the serious nature of the attack.

The men were found with gunshot injuries on Upton Lane in Forest Gate, East London, according to a report in Mirror Online.
The London Ambulance Service has released an update on the shooting.
They said: “We were called at 6:58pm tonight (October 8) to Upton Lane, E7, to reports that a number of people were injured.

“We sent a number of resources to the scene: three ambulance crews, three medics from our joint response unit, a clinical team manager, an incident response officer and an advanced paramedic.
“We also dispatched teams from London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated three people at the scene and took all three to a major trauma centre.”
Police are asking for witnesses to get in touch by calling 101 quoting CAD 6941/08Oct.

The A114 Upton Lane in Forest Gate is closed in both directions and there is queuing traffic from Grosvenor Road to Whyteville Road.
A Section 60 stop and search order has been authorised across the borough of Newham until 3pm tomorrow (Saturday October 9).
