Three men posing as police officers broke into the back of a Lady Bay house and made off with cash and jewellery.
The men entered the address by forcing the patio doors at the rear of the property, in Adbolton Lane. One of the men told the occupant that they were police officers.
A full search of the property took place before the men made off with cash and various items of jewellery. The males were seen to leave the area in a white Audi TT.
The incident happened on Monday June 24, at around 10.30am. The incident number is 247 of June 24, 2019.
A further burglary then took place at 4pm on Monday in Edwalton Lodge Close, Edwalton.
The offenders again were three unknown men and entered the property by smashing a window and opening the door with a key that was left in the house.
They were seen to leave the area in a white BMW. No items were taken on this occasion. The incident number is 651 of June 24, 2019.
A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: "Were you in any of these areas at the time? Have you any CCTV or dash cam footage that may have captured these males or vehicles?
"If you have any information that may assist in apprehending these offenders please call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting the above incident numbers."
