Three men jailed for offences including robbery and drug supply

Three men have been jailed for an assortment of offences in Bristol.

But a woman who appeared with them in court was spared custody.

Appearing at Bristol Crown Court were Damien Revill, 32, of Mancroft Avenue, Bristol.

Also appearing were Sam Smith, 26, of Stillingfleet Road in Hartcliffe and Tom Smith, 26, of Wilder Street in Bristol.

Their co-defendant was Carla Lear, 34, of Kerry Road in Knowle West.

The court heard on May 23, 2019, police stopped a car being driven by Sam Smith in which Lear was a passenger.

Lear was found with four bags of high purity cocaine and phone analysis revealed Sam Smith was involved in drug supply.

He admitted being concerned in the supply of cannabis and Lear admitted possessing with intent to supply cocaine.

The court heard Tom Smith pleaded guilty to being involved in a robbery in Stokes Croft on October 15 last year, in which a man was assaulted and threatened with a knife.

Sam Smith admitted theft by possessing the robbery victim's phone and Revill admitted handling the stolen phone.

Sam Smith also pleaded guilty to assaulting two emergency workers in an incident on January 3 this year - punching one officer to the head and head butting another officer's hand.

Judge Michael Longman jailed Tom Smith for two years and eight months.

He jailed Sam Smith for 14 months and Revill for eight months.

Lear was handed an 18-month community order with up to 25 days' rehabilitation.
