Three men involved in violence outside a Mayfair nightclub on the night Love Island stars were partying inside have been jailed at the Old Bailey.
Fazal Khan, 24, pulled out a flick knife outside Tape, stabbing Kajalakshan Mahendran in the back and slashing Sathurshan Gunaratnam’s face early on February 17.
Khan’s friend Ziad Fattah, 29, smashed a wine bottle over another man’s head, and Mahamoud Hassan, 25, was also involved in the violence.
According to reports at the time, Love Island stars Megan Barton-Hanson, Laura Anderson and Zara McDermott had left the club earlier.
Judge Mark Lucraft said it was a “revenge attack” after a dispute between two groups of men was broken up by Tape bouncers.
Khan, of Hayes, admitted two counts of wounding with intent and violent disorder. He was jailed for nine years.
Fattah, of Park Royal, admitted wounding with intent and violent disorder and was jailed for four-and-a-half years.
Hassan, of Hayes, admitted violent disorder and was jailed for two years and three months.
