Three men hunted by Scots cops in bid to solve capital city assault case

Police has released images of three men they wish to trace in connection with an assault in Edinburgh.

It's believed the trio can help officers solve an attack which took place in the capital city's Pilton Drive North last month.

Officers have now appealed to the public over the incident, which took place at about 11.30pm on November 24.

The first male is described as being white and of average build, with short brown hair, and aged between 18 and 23.

He was wearing a blue tracksuit top and bottoms on the night in question.

The third man officers are keen to speak to. (Police Scotland.)

The second man, who is also said to be white, aged between 18 and 23, with short brown hair, was waring a black puffa jacket and dark trousers.

And the third man, also described as being white and aged between 18 and 23, is said to have been wearing a grey tracksuit top with a black triangle on the left hand side of the chest.

The man, who is stocky and had red hair and red facial hair, was also wearing grey tracksuit bottoms which had black patches at the back of his knees.

Detective Constable William Doughty, from Corstorphine CID, said: "I would urge each of these three men, or anyone who has information relating to any of these three men, depicted in the images to make contact with the Police."

Witnesses can contact Police Scotland via the 101 non-emergency telephone number, quoting incident number 3662 of November 24, 2021.
