Three men are being hunted by police following a Wirral break-in.
Police were called to Littleton Close, Prenton, at around 6.40pm on Tuesday December 6 to reports that three men had gained entry into a home. Cash, jewellery and a mobile phone were reportedly taken from the property, with the phone later being recovered on Wethersfield Road.
The occupant of the home was unharmed but left "extremely shaken up" by the incident. Merseyside Police are now carrying out CCTV and door-to-door enquiries.

Detective Inspector Steven Byrom said: “Thankfully no one was harmed during this burglary, but the victim was left very distressed and is receiving the full support of our officers.
“Burglaries can have a massive impact on the person and families affected as they have had their home invaded which is an awful experience to go through and can often have a long-lasting impact on victims.
“We are in the early stage of investigating this incident. I would like to appeal to residents in the area to check their CCTV and doorbell footage to see if it may have captured anything which may help with our enquiries and contact us so we can bring the offenders to justice. If you have any information no matter how small or irrelevant you may think it is please pass it on to us as it could be what we need to identify this man.”
Anyone with any information on this incident is asked to contact us @MerPolCC on Twitter, ‘Merseyside Police Contact Centre’ on Facebook or ring 101 with reference 22000899525.
