Three men hospitalised and four arrested following large-scale police incident in Glasgow

Four men have been arrested after three men were hospitalised in a large scale police incident in Govan, Glasgow.

One 20-year-old man remains in a critical condition at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital following the incident yesterday evening.

Police were called to Hutton Drive in Govan around 6.10pm following reports of a large scale disturbance including several people injured.

Three men, aged 20, 26 and 28 were found injured and rushed by ambulance to hospital.

Police have confirmed the youngest is in a stable but critical condition.

Four men, aged 20, 26, 28 and 47, were subsequently arrested and charged.

A police spokesperson said: “Four men aged 20, 26, 28 and 47 years have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and will be appearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 27 April, 2020.

“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
