Three men have been charged following violent scenes in Glasgow last month.
Hundreds of people descended on George Square in the city centre on Sunday, June 14, calling for the statue of Metropolitan Police founder Sir Robert Peel to stay in place in an event organised by a group called the Loyalist Defence League.
It came after a protest was organised to call for the statue's removal.
The original demonstration, planned by the Glasgow Youth Art Collective, was postponed due to what organisers said was a lack of access to the square and "police targeting activists".
Police Scotland said on Wednesday that a 54-year-old man has been charged in connection with an assault and two men, aged 20 and 24, have been charged over public order offences.
The two younger men were expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday while the older man is due at the same court at a later date.
A fourth man, 22, was arrested in connection with the disorder and released pending further inquiries.
Detective Inspector Sarah McArthur, of Greater Glasgow CID, said: "Our investigation into the recent events in George Square continues.
"The disgraceful scenes we witnessed were completely unacceptable.
"I would encourage anyone with information in relation to the disorder to contact Police Scotland on 101.
"We take all such incidents of disorder or hate crime seriously and all reports will be fully investigated."
