One person has been arrested after reports of three men carrying weapons in Edinburgh .
Armed police were called out to Lochend Road in Edinburgh on Wednesday evening after locals reported a group of men roaming the residential area.
Officers arrested one person at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police in Edinburgh received a report of three males in the Lochend Road and Sleigh Drive area in possession of weapons.
"Officers responded to the scene and one man was arrested.
"Inquiries into this incident are continuing."
