Three men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and sexual assault after a woman was left fighting for life in Dagenham
The victim, a 45-year-old woman, is fighting for her life at an east London hospital.
Police were called following the incident in Porters Avenue, Dagenham.
The woman was rushed to hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
The men, aged between 20 and 54,have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and sexual assault.
They remain in custody at east London police stations.
Enquiries continue.
