Three men arrested as gardai probe shooting of hitman Hamid Sanambar in Coolock, Dublin

Three men have been arrested in connection with the shooting of a hitman two years ago.

41-year-old assassin Hamid Sanambar was suspected of the killing of Sean Little in Dublin in 2019.

The Iranian was standing in the garden of the home of Little, on Kilbarron Avenue in Coolock, North Dublin on May 28 that year when he was struck with a hail of bullets.

Gardai probing the shooting detained three men in north Co Dublin this morning.

The three men, aged in their 20s, are currently detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007 at a number of Dublin Garda Stations.

Sanambar was lured to Little’s home for a gathering of his pals the day before he was shot.

The Coolock feud kicked off over drugs, money and turf but descended into chaos as youngsters got personal and were rife with paranoia.

Sean Little's best pal Zach Parker, 23, was the first victim in January 2019.

Sean himself was next on May 21, followed by another man in north Dublin over the next few days and then Sanambar was killed on May 28.

Eoin Boylan, 22, was then murdered on November 24 of that year in his front garden in Clonshaugh.
