Three men were arrested after police stopped a car in Kirkby and discovered drugs and a drill.
A 23-year-old and two 21-year-olds were held after police pulled over a car yesterday in the Kirkby area.
Police then executed a search warrant at a storage unit where the men had been seen earlier in the day. Three scrambler bikes were then found inside the unit and seized by officers.
The three men were arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft and possession of a class B drug.
The police activity formed part of an operation to target individuals involved in serious crime.
Knowsley police shared a statement on social media last night which read: "Officers from the Priority Crime Team arrested a 21 year old male, a 23 year old male and a 21 year old male in Kirkby yesterday following the stop check of a vehicle.

"During a search of the persons and the vehicle, a quantity of cannabis and a drill were located. All three males were arrested on suspicion of Going Equipped for Theft and Possession of a Controlled Drug Class B.
"A section 32 search took place at a storage unit where the males had been present prior to their arrest. A number of scrambler bikes were located inside and have been seized for examination by the stolen vehicle unit. "
